World Record for Fastest Two Wheels Mile!
Stuntman Terry Grant breaks his own record at Goodwood Festival
Professional stuntman Terry Grant holds the world record for fastest mile on two wheels in a car, a record he just broke at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Grant carefully navigated a Nissan Juke NISMO RS to a record-setting time of 2 minutes, 10 seconds.
In the video, you can see Grant use a ramp to put the Juke on its right two wheels and then, through a series of sharp steering jabs and well-maintained throttle, he keeps it on those two wheels for a whole mile.
The footage almost looks fake and is somewhat unnerving to watch as you wait for the Juke to finish falling, one way or another. Finally, after surpassing the mile mark, he drops the Juke back down to all four wheels and drives off.
Grant’s previous record, which he beat by 45 seconds, was set at Goodwood in 2011. This year’s event took three months of preparation and training.
We’d suggest new tires for the Juke ... or maybe evening out the wear with another record attempt using the other side.
